Dear
Sir/Madam
Further to
my letter dated 19th May 2005 I again would like to thank you for recommending
the saltpipe. My asthma is under control with no need to use the inhalers
prescribed to me by my GP for the acute symptoms of my asthma. Regular
use of the saltpipe has greatly helped my breathing.
In my last
letter to you I mentioned I am troubled by hayfever during the months
of June & July and have been for 40 plus years. During these years
I have had to rely on oral antihistamines, steroid nasal sprays and
even intramuscular steroid injections to control the symptoms of my
hay fever. Needless to say the months of June & July have been miserable
times for me over these years. I am very happy to report to you the
only medication I have had to use for my hay fever this year has been
my eye drops, the saltpipe has helped and I would like to explain how.
For my hay
fever instead of using the saltpipe by breathing through the mouth I
breathed through my nose. This was done by cupping my hand around the
mouth part of the saltpipe at the same time as I cupped my hand around
my nose and then breathed through my nose. (You can place the mouth
part of the saltpipe close to you nasal one side each and inhale through
the pipe as well). I found this a very effective technique. Please find
enclosed diagram of this technique.
I am again
most greateful.
Your
fatihfully,
Hamish
